Chair of the Social Justice Committee. I attended Villanova University where I received my B.A. and M.A. in American history. I have been teaching at SCJN for almost half of my life. I have taught grades three, six, seven, and eight. I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband Joe; my son Michael, his wife B.G., and their sons Jackson and Holden; my daughter Elise; my daughter Betty Jane, her husband Dan, and their two daughters Chelsea and Madeleine; and my daughter Margaret and her sons Wesley and Emerson. I also enjoy traveling (especially to England every chance I get), reading historical fiction, going to the theater and movies, watching Masterpiece Theater, and listening to NPR and Frank Sinatra. I am delighted to return to SCJN this year to teach sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade Social Studies again. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana
