Ss. Colman-John Neumann is pleased to announce that Sophia DiCocco was recently awarded the Editha R. DeLone ’38 Scholarship to Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. This award is based on faith, scholarship, and service.

Ss. Colman-John Neumann Catholic School is also proud to recognize the following students as recent scholarship winners. Liam McHale and Joseph Wahba were honored as recipients of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School’s Ignatian Scholarship. This award is the Prep’s highest and most prestigious award, named in honor of St. Ignatious of Loyola to commemorate his emphasis on academic excellence and service to others. Mark Figge and Joe McCabe were named recipients of the School’s Xaverian Scholarship, named in honor of St. Francis Xavier to commemorate his emphasis on academic excellence and service to others.

In order to be considered for academic scholarships, students must maintain an excellent academic profile, exhibit qualities of leadership and service, and have an outstanding performance on entrance exams and interviews. To date, SCJN students have received $184,000 in scholarship money.

“The SCJN community congratulates all award winners on these outstanding academic achievements,” said Cathleen Lamberto, Principal of Ss. Colman-John Neumann School. “We are proud of all of our students for their dedication to their faith, academics, and service to their community.”
